Mowbie
Mowbie Branding Ideation
I created multiple branding options for the new men's shave company, Mowbie, as part of a collaborative effort with fellow graphic designers. Among the options, I presented my favorite to the CEO, VP of product, and the marketing team. This experience allowed me to showcase my ideas and gain valuable insights into preparing for high-level meetings, enhancing my professional skills in the process.
Blister Card Transfer
After the initial launch, Walmart asked for two products to be created for blister card packaging. Using the design Sara made, I transferred the designs to be on this new packaging style.
PR Deliverables
I created a comprehensive PR package, including a PR box, insert card, and thank-you card for use by the marketing team with influencers. Utilizing illustrations, as product photos were not available at that time, I ensured a visually appealing and cohesive presentation for the brand's outreach efforts.
Website Creation
I initiated the website development process using Adobe XD, employing wireframing techniques to establish the layout and structure. Subsequently, I utilized renders to assess sizes and copy spacing, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience. In line with our brand identity, I envisioned sharp shadows set against dark green backgrounds, effectively conveying our image as a playful yet high-end shaver company. This meticulous approach aimed to enhance both the functionality and aesthetics of our online platform.

Photoshoot
curated a moodboard that emphasized a clean aesthetic, relying on the inherent beauty of the product to showcase its worth effectively. Simultaneously, I developed the style concept for the model shoot, envisioning a distinctive look for the "Mowbie Man." Additionally, I meticulously crafted the shot list and handled the photo editing process for all images used on the website and print displays.
Logo & Package Design
Sara's logo design received unanimous acclaim from everyone in the office. Sara Vo meticulously crafted the logo and package design, striking a balance between playful and masculine aesthetics. To enhance the brand's sense of fun, I proposed incorporating product illustrations on the back of the packaging, effectively capturing the essence of the brand.
Brand Guideline
I developed the brand guidelines prior to the website production, ensuring alignment with the brand ideals. Subsequently, I updated the guidelines to encompass specific directives for the website and social media posts, ensuring a cohesive and unified brand identity across all online platforms.
NASCAR Ad
Our outstanding sales team secured a remarkable opportunity for our brand to be featured on the first inside page of NASCAR Magazine. Despite the absence of professional product photos, we used renders for the advertisement, a choice sanctioned by our CEO, Jamie Leventhal.
Developer Communications
I collaborated closely with the talented developer, Jessica Carter, to bring mowbie.com to life. Through this partnership, I gained valuable insights into using Zeplin and honed my skills in crafting responsive website designs. This knowledge was instrumental in ensuring that our website effectively catered to the needs of customers on the go, providing them with seamless access to the desired information. Working alongside Jessica, I not only contributed to the project but also enriched my expertise in web design and user experience.
Tradeshow Signage
I conceptualized and designed the wall graphics for the 2023 NACDS show, strategically showcasing our products using stylized lifestyle imagery. The Mowbie wall garnered significant attention from buyers, making it a standout feature during the event.
